The history of the Society Toumi & Co. began in 1976 in Khniss, a town in the Tunisian Sahel located five kilometers south of Monastir, near the Mediterranean Sea. It is specialized in the treatment of wool and weaving different types of traditional blankets. The methods used at that time was very basic and based on labor.
